This annual event alternates each year between the Cleveland Clinic, The Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.   We would like to promote 2019 symposium to welcome data scientists in the Great Cleveland area. The Joint Biostatistics Symposium provides a great opportunity for faculty, students, statisticians and professionals working in data analysis area to learn from each other and foster future collaborations.   This year’s symposium features a keynote speaker and one speaker from each of the three sponsoring institutions. There are also opportunities throughout the day for poster sessions and informal presentations.   Keynote speaker: Kathryn Roeder, PhD, Professor of Statistics and Computational Biology and Vice Provost for Faculty, Carnegie Mellon University    Please join us – and register by April 10, 2019.   FAQs    1. What are detailed agenda for the event?   The day will include a key note presentation and three speakers from each of the hosting organizations, with a lunch break and poster sessions. A detailed agenda will be provided when you check in.   3. What are the lunch options?   Box lunches and snacks will be provided without charge.
