Dr. Oksana Chkrebtii is a core faculty for the HAMMER project, a $26 million NSF-funded multi-institutional engineering research center (ERC) led by colleagues at the Department of Materials Science Engineering (MSE). The HAMMER ERC is aimed at advancing the revolution in material design and manufacturing while training a diverse and skilled workforce. Dr. Chkrebtii holds a courtesy appointment in MSE and works on interdisciplinary research at the interface between statistics and engineering.
