The 2026 Annual Joint Biostatistics Symposium, co-hosted by The Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve University, and Cleveland Clinic, will take place on the OSU campus on Friday, April 24. This annual symposium aims to create opportunities for collaboration among researchers across Ohio institutions. In addition to the keynote speaker, the symposium will feature three additional talks, one from each of the host institutions. The Department of Statistics is proud to announce Professor Max Russo as our speaker representative for the 2026 Symposium.
We’re excited to introduce the Student Poster Presentation Award again at this year’s symposium. All researchers, including faculty, professionals, students and trainees, are encouraged to submit and present a poster at the symposium. However, to ensure a fair and supportive comparison of academic work at similar career stages, only students and postdoctoral researchers will be considered for the poster award competition. Please submit the title of your poster in the registration form if you plan to participate in poster presentation.

The symposium registration and poster submission deadline is Friday, April 3rd. The registration form includes the submission of poster title. Abstract and the actual poster are not needed for the submission. Registration includes entry to the Symposium and a complimentary boxed lunch.
