We encourage our students to take advantage of the opportunities and resources available to you throughout your time as a student at Ohio State. The department hosts a weekly seminar series, annual lectures, an annual joint Biostatistics Symposium and reading groups that meet throughout the year to discuss emerging research in various areas. We also have a student group which organizes happy hours and other fun activities for our students to enjoy outside of class. Students have the opportunity to have dinner with visiting speakers, participate in recruitment events, and other opportunities throughout the year.
