Student Life

Our students enjoy a tight-knit community within our department while having access to the vast resources of The Ohio State University all within the great city of Columbus, Ohio! Most of the classes our students take will be in a few buildings with the same group of students. The department hosts a weekly seminar series, annual lectures, an annual joint Biostatistics Symposium and reading groups that meet throughout the year to discuss emerging research in various areas. We also have a student group which organizes happy hours and other fun activities for our students to enjoy outside of class. Check out our student blog for an inside look and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more informal/fun information about the department!
