Title

Modeling Considerations Regarding Latent Longitudinal Covariates—Measurement Error Prospectives

Speaker

Naisyin Wang, Department of Statistics, Texas A&M University

Abstract

The consideration of whether to take into account the covariance structure and how to do so have motivated various recent research topics in longitudinal data analysis. In this talk, I will discuss this issue from a measurement-error modeling prospective. I will use simple numerical illustrations to motivate the semiparametric approaches that we have developed. I will also discuss various recent directions on how to model the covariance structure.

Meet the speaker in Room 212 Cockins Hall at 4:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
