Title: Reflections on teaching in a post-pandemic world

Abstract: : In the Autumn of 2021, we slowly made our way back into the physical classroom after over a year of online teaching.  What did we learn during the pandemic about our students and ourselves as teachers?  My own voyage as an online instructor began almost 20 years ago at the University of Minnesota.   Although I felt this equipped me with the tools needed to teach during the pandemic, a year of online-only instruction had a profound impact on my ideas about teaching and learning.  What can the new “normal” look like in our post-pandemic classrooms?  I will share some thoughts and suggestions during my presentation.
