Steve MacEachern, Chair of the Department of Statistics, presented a keynote address at the World Meeting of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA) World Meeting in Edinburgh, UK on June 27, 2018.  His presentation, titled "A Brief Tour of Bayesian Nonparametrics," discussed the development of these methods from a curiosity in the 1970s to their current role as standard tools in modern Bayesian analysis.  His talk featured joint work with OSU colleagues Chris Hans, Xinyi Xu, Yoon Lee, and Mario Peruggia and several OSU statistics PhD alumni, among others.
