6th annual Florence Nightingale Day will be on November 4, 2023
Did you know that Florence Nightingale, founder of modern nursing, was also a statistician who created one of the first versions of the pie chart?
The Caucus for Women in Statistics is pleased to present the 6th annual Florence Nightingale Day. This annual event is open to students (age 13 and above) in public and nonpublic schools as part of an international event to celebrate women in statistics and data science, and to promote the science of data. Students can discover career opportunities in statistics and big data, take part in fun activities and meet with industry mentors. The event will be held on Saturday, November 4 at the Ohio State University (Eighteenth Ave Building, Rooms 160 and 170 (i.e. EA 160 & 170) from 9am to 4pm. Please visit the link below to register:
