Asuman Turkmen Participated in the University Institute

Asuman Turkmen, associate professor of statistics, has participated as a mentor in the University Institute for Teaching and Learning Faculty FIT: Foundation, Impact, Transformation mentoring program.
Asuman was chosen through a selective application process and is part of an elite class of outstanding Ohio State teachers mentoring multidisciplinary cohorts of new-to-Ohio-State faculty during the 2018-2019 academic year.
President Drake’s Time and Change Strategic Plan puts teaching and learning at the forefront as the first pillar of the framework: “Ohio State will be an exemplar of the best teaching, demonstrating leadership by adopting innovative, at-scale approaches to teaching and learning to improve student outcomes.” Such a goal can be realized when our outstanding teachers, such as Asuman, share their expertise.
Congratulations and thank you for your service, Asuman!
