Please join us in congratulating Kate Hu, whose project was one of fourteen selected for funding through the Spring 2026 President's Research Excellence (PRE) program!

According to the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK), accelerator grants are "reserved for small teams formed to pursue curiosity-driven, novel, high-risk and high-reward research. The project, titled Practical On-Farm Experimentation: Leveraging Spacial Statistics and Minimal Replication, will be led by Kate along with co-investigator Elizabeth Hawkins from the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
