Jennifer Sinnott

Jennifer Sinnott, associate professor of statistics, is a member of an interdisciplinary team recently awarded a $2.4 million R37 MERIT Award from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for endometrial cancer disparities research.  The project focuses on understanding why Black women do not receive treatment in line with national recommendations as frequently as White women, examining individual and systemic contributing factors, and identifying potential intervention points.  The team is led by Ashley Felix (PI), associate professor in the College of Public Health, and includes Macarius Donneyong, assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy, Tasleem Padamsee, assistant professor in the College of Public Health, and Kemi Doll, physician and associate professor at the University of Washington.
