PhD student Jae Ho Chang has received a $500 student travel award from Frontiers in Statistical Machine Learning 2025 (FSML) to present at their inaugural workshop being held in conjunction with the Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Nashville this summer. This travel award is sponsored by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and will enable him to travel to Nashville and attend both the FSML and JSM conferences. Jae received this award for his paper on "Heterogeneous transfer learning for high dimensional regression with feature mismatch," co-authored with Subhadeep Paul and Max Russo, and was among the top ten submissions received by the FSML.

Congratulations, Jae!
