The seven departments and the Actuarial Science Program within the College of Science at Purdue University established the Outstanding Alumni Award to recognize outstanding achievements of their respective alumni. The award is to honor graduates who have achieved success and recognition within their respected fields. Professor Emeritus of Statistics Mark Berliner is an awardee this year and will attend a ceremony at Purdue on October 6, 2017.
