Michelle Everson’s Work in Statistics Education Featured in AMSTAT News

Michelle Everson, associated professor of statistics and program specialist at The Ohio State University, is featured in three articles in the September 2017 issue of AMSTAT News, a publication of the American Statistical Association. 

The section on Statistical Literacy includes an article by Dr. Everson and Ellen Gundlach (Purdue University), titled “Teaching Statistical Literacy to Non-STEM Majors: Challenges and Opportunities.”

Professor Everson and Megan Mocko (University of Florida), co-chairs of the American Statistical Association GAISE Committee that was tasked with revising the Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education, present the work and findings of this national committee in an article “Updated Guidelines for Statistics Education: The GAISE 2016 College Report” in the AMSTAT News Undergraduate Statistics Education section.
