PhD Student, Shuhan Tang, Receives Distinguished Student Paper Award

International Biometric Society

Shuhan Tang, a recent PhD graduate, is the recipient of the Distinguished Student Paper Award, given by the Eastern North American Region of the International Biometric Society.   Shuhan's award winning paper is titled “Causal inference of hazard ratio based on propensity score matching” and is based on work that he did as an intern at Eli Lilly and Company.  Shuhan is a 2020 PhD graduate in Statistics from our department, and he did his dissertation research under Professors Peter Craigmile and Yunzhang Zhu.  Congratulations Shuhan!
