Congratulations to Shili Lin for being awarded the Societal Impact Award from the Caucus for Women in Statistics and Data Science. The award is given annually to a statistician or data scientist who has actively worked to advance social justice, or diversity, equity and inclusion through their research, teaching or service.  By establishing this award, CWS seeks to promote the active involvement and impact of statisticians and data scientists in society more broadly.

Shili Lin was presented with a plaque at the Joint Statistical Meetings in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this month. Shili will give a featured CWS webinar and may participate in or organize an invited session at The International Day of Women in Statistics and Data Science and/or the Women in Statistics and Data Science conference.

Congratulations Shili!
