Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Steven MacEachern Elected as 2020 ISBA Fellow

Steve MacEachern

Congratulations to Professor Steven MacEachern on his recent selection as Fellow of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA)!  A small number of ISBA Fellows are elected every two years, and Steve is one of nine new Fellows elected in 2020.  He was recognized for "foundational contributions to Bayesian computation, Bayesian robustness, and Bayesian nonparametrics, in particular the original development of now widely used dependent nonparametric models, and for his dedicated service to ISBA and the Bayesian community.”

This is a great achievement!  Well done, Steve!
