Subhadeep Paul Leads NSF-Funded Research on Digital Twins for UAVs

An interdisciplinary team led by Statistics faculty Subhadeep Paul has been awarded a grant from the NSF Mathematical Foundations for Digital Twin (MATH-DT) program. The team will develop heterogeneous transfer and personalized federated learning methods for digital twin in unmanned aerial vehicles. The MATH-DT program is jointly funded by NSF Division of Mathematical Sciences (DMS) and Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) to support foundational mathematical and statistical research on Digital Twins in applied sciences. The team consists of PI Subhadeep Paul, Co-PIs Debdipta Goswami from Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and Mahdi Khalili from Computer Science and Engineering.
Congratulations, Subhadeep!
