Statistics PhD student Justin Strait was awarded the university's prestigious Presidential Fellowship. This fellowship gives PhD students one year of full-time financial support so they can complete their dissertations without other duties. Strait works on problems in statistical shape analysis and is advised by Professor Sebastian Kurtek.
