Vince Vu

Principal Investigator Vincent Vu, associate professor of statistics, was awarded $120,000 for the project "Theory and Algorithms for Computational Sufficiency”. The project will explore hidden commonalities between disparate methods for extracting information from data.  This will deepen our qualitative understanding of different methods and can yield efficient algorithms for their computation.
