Because of your engagement and support, our 50th Anniversary Celebration was a major success! We were pleased to host so many alumni and friends on campus and are looking forward to sharing updates as we continue to celebrate the Department of Statistics.
One way we plan to continue to foster the connections re-established during the celebration event is to resume our departmental tradition of the newsletter. In conjunction with our anniversary, we plan to release a monthly Stat-50 newsletter between November 2024 and May 2025. From there, we will issue a year-end newsletter with a general overview of department news and features. This inaugural newsletter recaps the celebration event, as well as highlights ways for you to stay connected with the department and contribute to its historical archive.
