The tech-driven personal loan company Upstart, which launched in 2012 in the San Francisco Bay area, will open its second headquarter in Columbus early next year. Grant Schneider (PhD ‘14), the company’s leading data scientist and a native of Ohio, will run this new Columbus office.
Michael Browne, Emeritus Professor of Psychology and Statistics, passed away on October 10, 2018. He received his BA and M.Sc. degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and his Ph. D. from the University of South Africa.
